Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Sabre is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join its LGM Team based in Bengaluru. The role involves planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems for enhancements and brand-new products, particularly those related to cloud and internet technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, code, test, and debug complex new software solutions or enhance existing products.
• Design, plan, develop, and refine applications using both standard and advanced technologies.
• Analyze complex situations or data with deep understanding of organizational goals to implement strategic methods and techniques.
• Champion high coding standards by adhering to best practices and delivering high-quality code.
• Engage regularly with supervisors, architects, product managers, and HR on projects and team dynamics, influencing others diplomatically when needed.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance on cultural and competency aspects to teams.
• Offer insights on broader business and product perspectives, particularly mentoring in specific technology stacks and tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a related software development role.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent certifications.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments with fast-paced software development.
• Strong expertise in Java programming, specifically with Spring Boot, and knowledge of databases and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with programming within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with cloud-based technology stacks and programming languages.
• Fluent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly committed to work standards.
• Good understanding of artificial intelligence tools applicable in the software development lifecycle including coding and unit testing.
