Senior ServiceNow Application Developer / Programmer

About the Role

This position is for a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer / Programmer based in the United Arab Emirates, working remotely. The primary responsibility is to take charge of ServiceNow solutions that support key asset management and technology operations. The role involves leading the deployment and ongoing oversight of Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, and management of ServiceNow's Hardware and Software Asset Management modules.
• Implement and administer Software Bill of Materials solutions to enhance software oversight, tracking, and governance.
• Develop and sustain ServiceNow applications aligned with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather, clarify, document, and translate requirements into solutions.
• Manage technology inventory, ensuring asset data accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
• Apply ServiceNow platform expertise to enhance functionality and accommodate evolving business requirements.
• Utilize Azure cloud technologies in conjunction with ServiceNow to build robust technology solutions and integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide technical leadership ensuring the reliability and maintainability of implemented solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• More than 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, ServiceNow, or related technical fields.
• Formal technical education, professional certifications, or degree in technology or engineering disciplines.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration, implementation, and application development.
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management.
• Experience working with Software Bill of Materials for software asset tracking and governance.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities related to enterprise asset management.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies and environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to convert requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with technical and business stakeholders.
• Self-driven with the ability to independently manage priorities and technical projects.
• Emphasis on system accuracy, security, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Eligibility for obtaining BI Full 6C (T4) public trust clearance; U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.
