Job Overview

We are recruiting a Senior Roads Engineer for our Riyadh location who will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure with at least three years specifically in Saudi Arabia. The position entails comprehensive responsibility for the design and supervision of roads and highway projects, covering geometric layout, traffic management, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and review of roads and highway components in infrastructure ventures.
• Conduct and evaluate engineering analyses including road geometry and pavement design to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Maintain compliance of designs with local Saudi regulations, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other engineering specialists for cohesive project integration.
• Manage coordination of road elevations, corridors, crossings, and interactions with other infrastructural elements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, construction plans, and necessary documentation.
• Perform technical reviews of documents produced by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and team members technically.
• Engage with governmental bodies, clients, and other stakeholders to fulfill project criteria effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years experience in civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on roads and highways.
• At least 3 years of direct experience within the Saudi Arabian market is compulsory.
• Proficient understanding of road and highway design practices and construction methods.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and authority regulations pertinent to road engineering.
• Skilled in engineering software such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
