Role Overview
We seek a Senior Project Manager to lead the design, management, and effective deployment of solutions related to the new G2 platform. Acting as a bridge between Gentrack's Product and Delivery Engineering teams and Salesforce, you will ensure projects adhere to defined scope, quality benchmarks, budgets, and timelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule project activities, defining roles and responsibilities to meet milestone targets.
- Monitor project progress and quality, implementing sound project management practices and continuous improvements.
- Embody modern agile principles through effective facilitation of meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlogs and plan releases, and guide technical teams in solution development.
- Lead client and internal project teams, fostering motivation, setting performance standards, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, encouraging adoption of agile mindsets and techniques.
- Report on financials including budgets, revenue margins, staff utilization, and project status.
- Support sales efforts in bids and tenders, integrating project learnings back into pre-sale processes.
- Build and nurture ethical, transparent, and outcome-focused delivery partnerships with customers, ensuring their interests and Gentrack’s are both safeguarded.
- Actively promote Gentrack’s products and advocate best practices within the user community.
- Support global sustainability initiatives by engaging teams in events, promoting awareness of the Sustainability Charter, and fostering participation in the Giki platform challenges.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Bachelor's degree in ICT or related field.
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent.
- Experience managing projects using agile methodologies with strong backlog management skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM design and integration is advantageous though not mandatory.
- Knowledge of the utilities sector (energy and/or water) is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of data migration and integration technologies, including Talend and Mulesoft, is a plus.
- Excellent relationship management, strategic thinking, financial risk management, and communication abilities.
- Competence in visual facilitation tools like impact mapping, storyboarding, and value-stream mapping.
