Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Field Engineering will lead a regional group of experts specialized in Kubernetes, Storage, High-Performance Computing, Networking, Security, and Compute Infrastructure. This team ensures customers running large-scale AI workloads have seamless, reliable cloud experiences by managing data centers, hardware, and workloads. Close collaboration with internal teams and engagement with customers will help refine CoreWeave's product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing Specialist Field Engineering team fostering innovation and continuous development.
• Develop and execute the regional go-to-market technical strategy alongside Sales, Product Engineering, and Marketing to establish CoreWeave as a leader in performance and scalability.
• Serve as executive sponsor for the region's top strategic accounts, assisting customers from initial concept through large-scale deployment phases.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand complex AI and infrastructure needs and translate them into scalable production solutions.
• Coordinate capacity management, data center, and fleet operations to support advanced AI and high-performance computing demands.
• Define key performance indicators, optimize workflows, and partner with Technical Support Engineering to ensure rapid issue resolution and outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Incorporate field feedback with internal teams to drive product enhancements and operational excellence in a dynamic growth setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, field or infrastructure engineering, or cloud services; minimum 4 years in leadership roles.
• Proven success designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale cloud-native environments.
• Strong familiarity with GPU computing and distributed workloads highly preferred.
• In-depth expertise in infrastructure frameworks, performance tuning, workload orchestration, and distributed systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes, networking, enterprise storage, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with distributed cloud-native and AI/ML workloads on GPU-based infrastructures at scale.
• Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and develop talented teams fostering trust and excellence.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical subjects for varied audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer engagement and industry events.
