Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Architecture

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architecture Senior Manager to develop and uphold a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture framework that safeguards our information assets and aligns with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and oversee a robust cybersecurity architecture aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Lead the implementation of security measures and controls across networks, cloud environments, applications, and data layers.
• Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to embed security within architectural designs and project lifecycles.
• Perform architecture security reviews and risk assessments on current and emerging systems and technologies.
• Establish security standards, guidelines, and best practices for secure development and deployment.
• Manage and mentor the cybersecurity architecture team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity operations to monitor and defend security infrastructures.
• Contribute to incident response by offering architectural solutions to mitigate and recover from cyber incidents.
• Handle vendor relationships including evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and oversight of security services and technologies.
• Oversee budgeting and allocation of resources for cybersecurity architecture activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalents.
• Significant experience in cybersecurity architecture, ideally within retail or comparable industries.
• Strong familiarity with security (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
• Proven skills in designing and implementing security across technological layers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to convert business needs into secure technology solutions.
• Demonstrated aptitude for managing complex priorities effectively.
