We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architecture Senior Manager to develop and uphold a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture framework that safeguards our information assets and aligns with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and oversee a robust cybersecurity architecture aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Lead the implementation of security measures and controls across networks, cloud environments, applications, and data layers.
- Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to embed security within architectural designs and project lifecycles.
- Perform architecture security reviews and risk assessments on current and emerging systems and technologies.
- Establish security standards, guidelines, and best practices for secure development and deployment.
- Manage and mentor the cybersecurity architecture team, providing leadership and guidance.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity operations to monitor and defend security infrastructures.
- Contribute to incident response by offering architectural solutions to mitigate and recover from cyber incidents.
- Handle vendor relationships including evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and oversight of security services and technologies.
- Oversee budgeting and allocation of resources for cybersecurity architecture activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalents.
- Significant experience in cybersecurity architecture, ideally within retail or comparable industries.
- Strong familiarity with security (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
- Proven skills in designing and implementing security across technological layers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to convert business needs into secure technology solutions.
- Demonstrated aptitude for managing complex priorities effectively.
