Job Overview

A significant opportunity awaits for a Senior Maintenance Engineer at a growing manufacturing facility in North Dublin. Work Pattern

This position is a days-only role, involving two rotating shifts designed to promote a healthy work-life balance within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Duties

  • Provide both reactive and planned maintenance support throughout a high-volume manufacturing plant.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to maximize machinery uptime and dependability.
  • Rapidly and effectively diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Maintain and fix various production, packaging, and processing equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing plant functionality and decreasing downtime.
  • Support equipment enhancements, installations, and engineering improvements.
  • Thoroughly document maintenance tasks, repairs, and corrective measures.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with site safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to optimize machine performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, pharmaceuticals, or similar industrial settings.
  • Multi-skilled maintenance expertise with strong electrical and mechanical capabilities.
  • Proficient in fault diagnosis and repair, including experience with PLC-controlled systems.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial context.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from €65,000 to €70,000 annually.
