Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Java Backend Developer to join our teams in Gurugram or Bangalore. The candidate will have 7 to 11 years of proven experience designing, building, and supporting scalable enterprise-grade applications focused on backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, test, and deploy robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Develop and maintain microservices-based systems enabling scalable solutions.
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external platforms.
- Design efficient relational database schemas and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and transactions.
- Transform business requirements into reliable technical solutions ensuring high quality.
- Focus on delivering scalable, secure, performant, and reliable applications.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, Quality Assurance, and Frontend developers.
- Lead code reviews enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
- Engage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and support DevOps methodologies.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation and encourage knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior engineers and offer technical advice when necessary.
Requirements
- 7 to 11 years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and Spring Boot framework.
- Deep understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience working with SQL-based databases and skilled in query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development principles.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and produce maintainable solutions.
- Good collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
