At its core, the company is developing the Human Experience Engine, a sophisticated Persona Compatibility layer that matches individuals based on identity, desires, and connection styles. The founder integrates cognitive science to enable hyper-personalized, real-time human interactions. Having progressed through ideation, market research, pilots, MVP development, and a robust scalable foundation, the product is live across app stores and now focusing on distribution and scaling the user base.

Role Overview

This role is critical as the company scales from its initial build phase. You will maintain and enhance sixteen services plus two mobile apps and a web front, focusing on raising quality standards through comprehensive testing, continuous integration (CI) gates, and automated review processes. You will enforce the software quality bar across the entire codebase and mentor engineers through constructive reviews to foster team improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire system end-to-end with robust testing on critical workflows.
• Implement and maintain CI checks, coverage on key paths like payment, authentication, and personal data handling.
• Develop and run automated pull request reviewers ensuring code quality for all production merges.
• Personally review high-risk code merges across mobile apps and web platforms.
• Define and uphold company coding standards while mentoring peer engineers through effective code reviews.
• Manage half of the codebase estate ensuring no bottlenecks in pull requests.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum five years of full stack development experience delivering dependable products that users rely upon.
• Backend expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, relational database design, schema migrations on live systems; specifically using NestJS, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience shipping React Native mobile apps (Expo framework) to both major app stores, including managing release cycles.
• Skilled in performing live codebase refactoring without downtime, with well-planned sequencing of changes.
• Hands-on experience designing and enforcing tests and CI pipelines on mission-critical code paths.
• Senior-level code review capabilities with measurable impact on team performance.
• Strong ability to interpret requirements before code changes and distinguish effective code from less scalable implementations.
• Security-focused mindset particularly around authentication, financial transactions, personal data protection, database indexing, and migration safety.
• Able to deliver direct, clear, and specific feedback, comfortable rejecting work with clear rationale.
• Experience integrating AI tools like Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT in code review and refactoring workflows, daily usage expected.

Additional Information

Compensation: Annual package ranges from ₹1,700,000 to ₹3,400,000, increasing with company milestones.
