Senior Electrical Project Manager - Data Centre Infrastructure

Overview

Conjugate QADDS, a specialized international recruitment network in Data Centres and AI Infrastructure, is seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers for roles primarily in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with opportunities across the GCC, India, USA, Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The focus is on managing complex electrical infrastructure projects within data centres and mission-critical environments, including hyperscale and colocation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical project execution from initial design through to commissioning and final handover.
• Manage electrical contractors, consultants, vendors, and specialized subcontractors ensuring project alignment.
• Coordinate high, medium, and low voltage (HV/MV/LV) electrical systems and related infrastructure components.
• Handle project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and resource allocation effectively.
• Review and assess technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, method statements, and submissions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, civil, structural, and specialist systems.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and energisation procedures for electrical systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical or delivery challenges during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and project standards.
• Maintain strong client and consultant communication and relationships throughout the project.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive electrical project management experience spanning 7 to 15+ years.
• Proven background in data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Expertise with HV, MV, LV electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, Power Distribution Units (PDU), and electrical distribution networks.
• Demonstrated competency in testing and commissioning electrical installations.
• Experience overseeing electrical contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly desirable experience in hyperscale or colocation data centre projects.
• International project management exposure is considered a strong advantage.
• Candidates from sectors such as Utilities, Power, Oil & Gas, Semiconductor, EPC, Industrial, and other mission-critical fields are encouraged to apply.
