Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance the efficiency of our development and deployment systems. This role involves ensuring our cybersecurity infrastructure is highly available, secure, and scalable. The successful candidate will operate at the convergence of software engineering and operational excellence, driving automation, resilience, and constant improvement across our technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain durable continuous integration and deployment pipelines alongside cloud infrastructure to speed software delivery.
• Continuously monitor system health, resolve technical issues promptly, and manage incidents to reduce downtime.
• Partner directly with software engineers to facilitate swift, secure, and dependable product releases.
• Automate deployment, testing, and scaling workflows to improve operational effectiveness.
• Deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and enforce cloud security best practices for compliance and minimized risk.
• Amplify system performance and dependability via targeted capacity planning and system tuning.
• Advocate for DevOps principles such as observability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to continuously enhance our technology stack.

Candidate Requirements

• Over seven years of practical experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering, ideally within dynamic, fast-paced settings.
• Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and popular CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Demonstrated ability to scale applications and databases (including SQL and NoSQL) to support high-traffic scenarios.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies focused on operational enhancements like AI-powered monitoring and automated anomaly detection.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud, with a background in hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming for automation and tooling using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong foundation in networking, Linux operating systems, and security concepts including zero-trust architectures, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and secret management solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-motivation, flexibility, and a passion for impactful product development within a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cybersecurity technologies and familiarity with compliance standards like SOC2 and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of observability technologies including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Active engagement with open-source communities or a portfolio showcasing technical expertise such as blogs or project contributions.
