Role Summary

We seek an experienced Senior Developer skilled in AI and Cybersecurity to design, develop, and safeguard intelligent software applications. The candidate will lead development of AI/ML-powered solutions and cybersecurity features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve AI-driven applications and cybersecurity tools.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML models, large language model applications, intelligent automation, and data-centric solutions.
• Architect secure, scalable, and efficient software systems.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities with suitable controls.
• Conduct secure coding, code reviews, threat modeling, and ongoing security assessments.
• Implement application security, API protection, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data safeguarding measures.
• Utilize AI techniques to detect, evaluate, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Set up security monitoring, logging, alerts, and automated threat detection systems.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from design to release.
• Produce quality, maintainable, testable, and secure code.
• Ensure software meets security, performance, and functionality benchmarks.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities with backend, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Research emerging AI, cybersecurity, and software technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams.
• Resolve complex production, performance, and security issues.
• Promote secure development practices across engineering divisions.
• Manage software component releases.
• Mentor junior developers and support key technical decisions.
• Maintain clear communication and thorough documentation standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 7+ years in software development, particularly in AI/ML and/or cybersecurity domains.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar.
• Thorough knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, and AI-centric application development.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, or equivalents.
• Hands-on familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and AI agents is highly advantageous.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity fundamentals including application security, network security, API protection, identity and access management, authentication, authorization, encryption, vulnerability management, and threat detection/response.
• Experience following secure coding standards and OWASP Top 10 guidelines.
• Knowledge of security testing methods and tools such as static and dynamic application security testing, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and code security analysis.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience working with REST APIs, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, Git, and DevOps workflows is a strong plus.
• Knowledgeable with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to independently investigate complex technical and security challenges.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring capabilities, and effective teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI-powered cybersecurity or threat detection products.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, or security monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of security automation and incident response processes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or CIS Controls.
• Expertise in securing AI/LLM systems against threats including prompt injection, data leakage, and model security.
• Industry certifications like CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+, AWS or Azure Security certifications are an advantage.
• Experience handling mission-critical, high-volume, and low-latency systems is highly desirable.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
