Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Head of Total Rewards and operating within a compact team, this multifaceted senior role covers remuneration, benchmarking, analytics, and system management. Responsibilities include leading remuneration analysis across pay positioning and equity, developing reporting dashboards, supporting pay review cycles, managing benchmarking surveys, administering incentive and equity plans, driving governance and compliance, and enhancing reward processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive remuneration analytics focusing on pay positioning, equity, market competitiveness, and cost modeling.
  • Create dashboards and reports to guide remuneration strategies and business decisions.
  • Support annual performance review and remuneration processes through data analysis, presentation creation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee market benchmarking and salary survey participation, including job architecture assistance.
  • Manage administration of short- and long-term incentive and equity compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with remuneration governance and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate and improve reward systems, collaborating with HRIS and data teams.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HR, Finance, Risk, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to translate compensation data into actionable insights.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years experience in remuneration, performance, or compensation analytics within a global or matrixed financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting reward cycles, benchmarking, and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, HRIS platforms, and compensation systems.
  • Familiarity with Workday, HRSoft, Power BI, and salary market data providers such as McLagan is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset combined with proactive self-management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex information.
  • Adaptable, fast learner comfortable working in dynamic, changing environments while handling multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across diverse business functions.

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges between $130,000 and $150,000 AUD per annum plus superannuation benefits.
