Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network & Security Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role and requires relocating to Al Khobar.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using cloud-native services such as VPCs, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, and Network Connectivity Center.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive network security policies, managing both cloud-native security services and third-party security appliances including Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, Fortinet, and F5 devices.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise, primarily with Terraform, to automate provisioning and lifecycle management of networking and security infrastructure.
• Implement standardized deployments by utilizing Google Fabric Fast and adhere to Google best practices for enterprise landing zone architectures.
• Provide technical leadership in collaboration with the Senior Cloud Architect, effectively communicating complex networking and security concepts to various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code automation; knowledge of Python or Ansible is a plus.
• In-depth familiarity with Google Fabric Fast blueprints and GCP enterprise landing zone best practices.
• Strong understanding of core networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, hybrid cloud connectivity (Interconnect/VPNs), and container networking on GKE/Kubernetes.
• Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing third-party network security solutions like Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 within cloud environments.

Experience

• A minimum of seven years working in cloud networking, security architecture, and enterprise infrastructure deployment.
• Track record of successfully migrating on-premise enterprise infrastructure to secure GCP environments.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Active Google Cloud Certifications: Professional Cloud Network Engineer and Professional Cloud Security Engineer are mandatory.
