About the Role
Join PwC Ireland as a Senior Associate within our Cybersecurity & Privacy team, focusing on cloud security solutions primarily around Microsoft technologies. This role requires problem solvers dedicated to tackling intricate business challenges through strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement Microsoft security solutions including Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Purview, MS Entra, Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Defender.
- Conduct thorough security assessments and vulnerability analyses to uncover risks and recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Engage directly with clients to gather business needs, security objectives, and technical limitations, translating these into robust security strategies.
- Offer expert advice on Microsoft security best practices and adhere to relevant industry standards for clients and internal teams.
- Lead the development and delivery of client-focused training sessions and workshops to increase security awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Microsoft security technologies, emerging threats, and industry developments to integrate into solution designs.
- Participate in incident response initiatives including investigation, containment, and recovery as required.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline is essential; Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of practical experience working with Microsoft security technologies and solutions, particularly in Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Purview, MS Entra, Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Defender.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Information Protection Administrator, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst are preferred.
- Proven success in delivering complex Microsoft security projects within consulting or professional services.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, network security, authentication, and access management.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements including NIST, CIS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and vulnerability scanning techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work well in collaborative and dynamic team settings.
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
