Senior Architect

Role Overview

As a Senior Architect, you will take full responsibility for complex Class 2 and 3 projects throughout the delivery phases, advancing your career towards senior leadership. This position is ideal for experienced professionals who desire to maintain technical involvement while managing broader aspects such as project performance, client relations, consultant coordination, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee consultant coordination, ensure high documentation standards, and guarantee technical project delivery.
• Serve as a principal client contact to manage programme timelines, fee structures, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Guide and mentor project teams, cultivating leadership capabilities for expanded future roles.
• Lead projects from Development Application (DA) through documentation, tendering, and construction phases, taking ownership of programme, coordination, quality, and financial outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated delivery experience on Class 2 and 3 projects within Australian studios.
• Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and applicable Australian Standards.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams effectively.
• Architectural registration and Development Building Practitioner (DBP) accreditation are desirable but not mandatory.
