Job description
Role Overview
This position involves leading the deployment and management of security automation systems across multiple sites to ensure robust safety protocols and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment, testing, commissioning, and smooth handover of security automation technologies across various locations.
- Manage and monitor security devices and platforms including CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), Video Management Systems (VMS), Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), and other integrated solutions to maintain optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and systems integration in collaboration with suppliers and original equipment manufacturers.
- Maintain records such as security system databases, user permissions, licenses, assets inventory, and performance dashboards to support system oversight.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, regular system audits, preventive maintenance routines, and assessments of emerging technologies.
- Prepare and deliver detailed management information system (MIS) reports, incident analysis, performance metrics, and automation updates for stakeholder review.
- Facilitate training sessions for Plant Security Heads, Security Coordinators, and onsite teams to enhance familiarity and proficiency with security automation tools and protocols.
- Ensure all security processes comply with established security standards, cybersecurity mandates, audit findings, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT departments, project teams, operations and maintenance staff, and external vendors to achieve seamless security technology integration.
- Explore and promote the adoption of automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence-driven surveillance, and other innovations to advance security operations and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of any recognized graduation degree.
- A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in relevant security automation or technology roles.
- Possession of related technical certifications is advantageous.
