About the Role
An esteemed International School located in Vile Parle, Mumbai is inviting applications for a dedicated and knowledgeable School Librarian. This role focuses on establishing a dynamic, well-organized, and welcoming library space designed to motivate students to engage deeply with reading, research, and exploration.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Must hold an appropriate degree or certificate in Library Science or Information Science.
- Proven experience working as a librarian within a school setting is essential.
- Preference will be given to those familiar with IB, Cambridge, or similar international curricula.
- Must be proficient in using library management software, cataloguing methods, and digital resource handling.
- Capable of assisting students and faculty in effective research practices and developing information literacy skills.
- Exhibit strong organizational capabilities, clear communication, and adeptness with technology tools.
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for literature targeted at children and young adults.
Location
This position is based onsite at Vile Parle, Mumbai.
