SCADA Cyber Security Engineer

Position Overview

We are recruiting a SCADA Cyber Security Engineer to enhance the protection and reliability of critical operational technology environments within a major infrastructure network. The focus will be on ensuring cybersecurity, managing industrial communication networks, and maintaining SCADA system performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure secure communication channels for OT and SCADA systems.
• Manage and support cybersecurity solutions alongside network management platforms.
• Track and analyze communication effectiveness throughout operational systems.
• Respond to cybersecurity breaches by investigating incidents and applying remedial measures.
• Collaborate with internal IT departments and external suppliers for coordinated operations.
• Maintain server environments and communication network infrastructure.
• Generate reports covering security status, network performance, and operational metrics.
• Assess cybersecurity threats and propose enhancements to reduce risks.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Have at least a decade of experience supporting SCADA or Industrial Control Systems.
• Demonstrate experience in sectors such as utilities, water/wastewater, energy, or other critical infrastructure.
• Exhibit strong expertise in industrial cybersecurity practices and network management.
• Show familiarity with SCADA, operational technology systems, networking, and communications.
• Understand prevailing cybersecurity standards and best practice methodologies.
• Display excellent problem-solving abilities and skills in managing stakeholder relationships.
