About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished SAP PP Consultant with extensive logistics knowledge, specializing in S/4HANA environments. This senior-level role requires 12 to 15 years of in-depth expertise, ideally candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing and supply chain domains. The position is Bangalore-based, involving leadership of production planning and supply chain transformation projects in complex manufacturing settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive SAP PP design, setup, and rollout tailored to discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing contexts.
- Steer production planning and supply chain programs ensuring they align tightly with client manufacturing strategies.
- Apply advanced expertise across PP sub-areas such as PP-DI, PP-PI, PP-REM, Demand Management, SOP, MRP, and MPS.
- Manage key production planning master data including Bill of Materials, Routings, Work Centers, Recipes, and Production Versions.
- Facilitate seamless integration with modules like MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, FI-CO, PM, and PS.
- Engage actively with diverse stakeholders including business leadership, supply chain teams, and IT groups.
- Conduct risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within production planning and logistics processes.
- Lead and mentor functional teams on best practices and solution frameworks.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production challenges, offering sustainable fixes.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- 12 to 15 years of hands-on consulting experience in SAP PP with significant exposure to logistics.
- Solid grounding in supply chain operations and processes.
- Expertise spanning PP-DI, PP-PI, PP-REM, Demand Management, SOP, MRP, MPS, and production master data governance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration involving MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, FI-CO, PM, and PS.
- Proven competence in risk management within SAP and associated supply chain initiatives.
- Leadership aptitude to manage independent teams and coordinate across multiple business units.
- Strong functional understanding of manufacturing processes end-to-end.
Desirable Competencies
- Working experience with S/4HANA Manufacturing modules, aATP, and PP-DS advanced planning tools.
- Familiarity with SAP IBP and MES integration with SAP PP.
- Previous involvement in global manufacturing rollouts is advantageous.
