Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Director focusing on Google Cloud to join our Transformation division as soon as possible. You will design, manage, and refine the national sales strategy for the Google Cloud portfolio within our organization, actively collaborating with key stakeholders to continuously enhance our market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape, oversee, and improve the national sales approach for Google Cloud offerings.
- Lead the strategic partnership with Google Cloud Germany at the executive level, safeguard co-selling budgets, initiate joint market campaigns, and represent the company at various Google Cloud events including the Google Cloud Summit.
- Build, manage, and provide leadership to the sales and pre-sales teams, overseeing the sales pipeline from initial contact through contract closure.
- Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and coordinating high-level discussions with C-level and departmental executives, while collaborating internally with industry leaders and partners to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Completed university degree in (business) informatics, economics, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of proven success in selling Google Cloud and complex technology consulting services, with a strong active network at C-level (CIO, CTO, CDO, CFO) in the German market.
- In-depth knowledge of the Google Cloud partner ecosystem and experience using commercial Google funding programs such as Business Investment Funds.
- Expertise in addressing industry-specific challenges, value chains, and regulatory requirements within pertinent market segments.
- Proven leadership experience in agile sales teams and adeptness in navigating complex matrix organizations.
- Fluency in German and English.
