Job description

Company and Role Overview

We are building the most advanced screw supplier for the German mid-market—transforming a sector still dominated by fax, Excel sheets, and phone chains into one with fast quotes, clear specifications, and genuine availability. To achieve this, we need a proactive individual who will represent our company vocally, engaging technical buyers and decision-makers to nurture conversations that convert interest into pipeline opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage outbound channels, primarily telephone and email, executing calls and messages consistently using personalized sequences that you develop, test, and optimize.
  • Follow up systematically on marketing inquiries, existing offers, and repeat customers to maximize these valuable touchpoints alongside cold outreach.
  • Conduct outbound calling including cold and warm calls, confidently handle objections, and structure initial conversations effectively.
  • Develop and execute email campaigns, analyzing open and response rates to refine approaches.
  • Qualify potential clients by identifying the right buyers and decision-makers using ICP-based criteria such as need, timing, volume, and specifications.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation in HubSpot CRM, ensuring seamless handoff of qualified leads to specialists and keeping the sales pipeline transparent.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams about effective phone tactics, customer concerns, and where offers stall to influence product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy.

Candidate Profile

  • Initial experience in B2B outbound sales roles such as SDR/BDR, inside sales, or telesales involving high-frequency calling.
  • Strong enthusiasm for telephone communication—making calls a primary tool and resilient to rejection.
  • Excellent written and spoken German skills at native or near-native level, essential for connecting with technical procurement professionals in Germany’s mid-sized companies.
  • Analytical mindset focused on creating hypotheses, testing them, interpreting data, and iterating campaigns.
  • Highly organized with an emphasis on documentation, understanding that unrecorded activity in CRM is equivalent to no activity.
  • Ambitious and motivated to work in an environment where performance is visible and leads quickly to increased responsibilities.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Basic technical knowledge in engineering, mechanical engineering, fastening technology, or technical trade.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or contemporary sales platforms such as Clay, Apollo, or Ocean.
  • Background in selling complex, technical products.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • You control the outbound channels of phone and email, testing varied approaches and seeing direct results.
  • Competitive compensation ranging from €50,000 to €85,000 annually, depending on experience and proven sales track record.
  • Opportunity to help build a scalable outbound sales process from the ground up, directly impacting company growth.
  • Flat organizational structure with rapid decision-making and direct access to leadership.
  • Use of AI-enabled tools to reduce routine tasks, allowing you to focus on conversations rather than data entry.
  • Modern office located in Bielefeld with convenient transport links and options for hybrid working.
  • Company-sponsored team events and off-site meetings that actually happen.

Additional Information

  • This role requires high activity and consists predominantly of calls and follow-ups; it is not suited to those expecting sales to be mostly strategic planning or meetings.
  • The company is in a growth phase; processes are evolving, and you will help shape them rather than join an established system.
  • Performance metrics include activity, conversion, and pipeline management, monitored to optimize results, not to micro-manage.

Application Process

No cover letter needed. Applicants should answer three questions: Why you? Why now? Why this role? Responses can be brief, in video or voice message format.

Interview stages include a 30-minute initial call, a 60-minute role discussion with a practical case, an on-site team meeting in Bielefeld, followed by an offer.

We respond within five business days. Diversity and equal opportunity are integral to our hiring, welcoming candidates regardless of age, gender, nationality, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnic and social background.
