Job description
Role Overview
This position supports the Sales & Marketing team through various office duties including managing documents, correspondence, and client communication. It involves preparing sales materials such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders, while actively promoting the brand internally and externally. The role includes interacting with guests and clients to provide information on property amenities, services, rates, and events, maintaining records accuracy, and assisting with sales processes to optimize revenue and build guest loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative tasks like filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and photocopying to aid Sales & Marketing operations.
- Prepare and assemble sales-related documentation throughout the sales cycle.
- Promote strong brand awareness both within the organization and externally.
- Compile marketing materials and information packages such as brochures and promotion details.
- Apply effective sales techniques that increase revenue while ensuring continued customer loyalty.
- Maintain accurate data entry and verification of information related to commissions, leads, and external parties within sales software systems.
- Provide guests with detailed answers on facilities, rates, event options, promotions, and related inquiries.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email to address questions and service requests.
- Adhere to company policies, appearance standards, confidentiality requirements, and protect company assets.
- Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation during interactions.
- Use clear and professional communication methods in spoken and written forms and practice telephone etiquette.
- Foster teamwork by building positive relationships, supporting peers toward shared objectives, and responding to employee concerns.
- Meet quality assurance standards and perform physical activities including lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education level is a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a related field.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
