Overview
WPS is seeking a seasoned Roofer to join the Responsive Maintenance team, contributing to a social housing contract based in Derbyshire. This role involves performing routine roofing repairs and maintenance on occupied social housing residences, ensuring superior quality and adherence to safety and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute responsive repairs and roofing maintenance tasks on social housing sites.
- Conduct inspections of roofs, diagnose issues, and implement repair solutions.
- Follow Health & Safety guidelines, safeguarding policies, and company protocols rigorously.
- Maintain effective communication with schedulers, supervisors, and residents.
- Document job activities and materials used via handheld or PDA devices.
- Collaborate professionally with other tradespeople as necessary.
- Provide a courteous, customer-centric service within homes that are occupied.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience as a Roofer, preferably within social housing or responsive maintenance environments.
- Possession of NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Valid full UK driving license is essential.
- Comfortable working in occupied properties.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety standards and practices.
- Dependable, professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
