Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a rigging inspector to join our team located in Moncton, New Brunswick. The inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing below-the-hook lifting equipment, rigging, and fall arrest gear to verify that all safety certifications comply with provincial and federal safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections on below-hook lifting equipment, rigging gear, and fall protection devices.
- Accurately complete detailed inspection reports for all checked items.
- Support additional departments such as rigging operations and warehousing when required.
- Deliver completed reports to administration either upon task completion or daily based on job requirements.
- Manage paperwork and maintain detailed records of inventory used for billing and certification tracking.
- Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of company equipment on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
- Be prepared to travel or work offsite at various job locations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
- No prior experience necessary as complete training will be provided.
- Physically capable of safely lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to waist height.
- Valid driver's license and insurability are mandatory.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Successful candidates must pass criminal background checks, driver’s abstracts, and reference verifications before employment confirmation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage between $20 and $22, dependent on experience.
- Eligibility for a 5% RRSP matching program after completion of one year.

- Work schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Minimum education
Higher Secondary (Class 12)
