Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement review strategies ensuring compliance with internal standards and client project goals.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to both internal teams and external stakeholders, including counsel and clients, advising on best practices in document review.
• Maintain ongoing communication regarding review progress and substantive matters with clients and review teams.
• Support the creation of project-specific review plans targeting efficient review workflows and optimal use of technology.
• Implement quality control procedures and lead document review teams to meet throughput and quality targets.
• Collaborate with AI specialists and data management professionals to enhance review operations.
• Advise on technological tools' efficiency, including redaction and privilege logging software.
• Offer client- and case-specific expertise and conduct training, mentoring, and feedback sessions to associate-level team members, fostering teamwork.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at refining processes and undertake other related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience managing document review projects for law firms or review service providers.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
• Preferred experience includes managing document review projects for complex financial services and pharmaceutical industry clients.
• Experience with non-litigation reviews, such as data breach or contract extraction, is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse legal teams, ensuring adherence to accuracy, timelines, and budgets.
• Strong initiative with a client-centric attitude and commitment to quality delivery.
• Comprehensive understanding of litigation discovery processes and goals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills tailored to client engagement.
• Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experienced user of Relativity, Brainspace, Blackout, or similar document review platforms.
• Skilled in developing tailored quality control mechanisms for various discovery projects.
