Role Overview
The Return to Work Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the Return-to-Work initiatives, systems, and procedures for both operational and non-operational employees within the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Services (MFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary workplace liaison for overseeing Injury Management and Return to Work efforts.
- Facilitate a safe, prompt, and sustainable reintegration of injured staff into their roles.
- Assess the specific return to work requirements of employees recovering from injury.
- Design and implement tailored return to work plans and strategies.
- Regularly monitor, evaluate, and adjust recovery and return to work programs, especially for high-risk or complex cases.
