About the Role
Join a leading defense engineering team committed to supporting national and allied security through innovative solutions. With over a century of expertise, you will contribute to advancing Air Defense Forces systems ensuring safety and reliability in critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses and research to identify solutions related to electrical and electronic challenges, including reverse engineering components of defense systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot weaponry systems and test console electronics, including software enhancements for test consoles.
- Evaluate and plan modifications or enhancements to subsystems within Air Defense Forces technologies.
- Create engineering drawings and design specifications to facilitate procurement or local manufacturing of parts.
- Offer expert engineering advice to repair units and workshops addressing electrical, electronic, and communication system issues.
- Produce technical bulletins aimed at error prevention, correction, and system performance improvement.
- Provide technical consultation support for workshops actively involved in maintenance and repairs.
- Assess innovations and development proposals submitted by Air Defense units to ensure technical feasibility and effectiveness.
- Perform additional related engineering duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university, preferably recognized by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Completion of specialty courses in Electronics, Electrical, and Communications is highly regarded.
- At least five years of engineering research or study experience, ideally in electrical or electronic disciplines.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with relevant computer applications and familiarity with electrical circuit design software.
- Experience authoring technical documentation and reports.
- Knowledge of electronic design tools such as LabVIEW, CAD, or similar software.
- Experience collaborating across teams to address challenges like component obsolescence through redesign or sourcing alternatives.
