Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated RD&A Technician to support our Research, Development & Application team focused on meat category innovations. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, product application trials, and assisting with customer demonstrations, collaborating closely with RD&A scientists and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute product application trials using Kerry’s technologies in meat and protein formulations.
- Prepare samples, prototypes, and finished products for presentations to customers and internal assessments.
- Carry out laboratory and application tasks accurately, managing assigned projects and daily activities independently.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ingredients, and consumables ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
- Document trial outcomes, observations, and technical data precisely and promptly.
- Adhere to food safety, quality standards, and laboratory best practices consistently.
- Work collaboratively with RD&A peers and cross-functional teams to support innovation and customer projects.
- Help keep the laboratory environment organized, clean, and ready for audits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related area (such as B.Tech or B.Sc).
- Relevant prior experience in food laboratories, application development, kitchens, or product development within the food industry is essential.
- Experience in practical food preparation, product evaluation, or technical assistance is an advantage.
