Job description
Position Overview
At RADIOLOGIE ERFURT, the Radiologist will take charge of performing expert radiological examinations and providing accurate diagnostic reports. Daily responsibilities include planning and carrying out various imaging procedures, interpreting diagnostic images, and compiling clear and detailed findings. Close collaboration with referring physicians and medical staff is essential, along with advising patients about examination processes while maintaining high quality and radiation safety standards. This is a full-time onsite role based in Erfurt.
Qualifications
- Medical Expertise: Completed medical degree with licensing (Approbation) and ideally specialist training in radiology; confident handling of general medical issues.
- Radiological Knowledge: Thorough understanding of radiology and diagnostic imaging techniques including CT, MRI, conventional X-rays, and ultrasound.
- Specialized Procedures: Experience or willingness to develop skills in mammography and related procedures.
- Quality & Safety: Meticulous work ethic, knowledge of radiation protection, quality management, and use of advanced RIS/PACS systems.
- Social & Organizational Skills: Strong communication capabilities, empathetic patient interaction, teamwork, and well-organized work habits.
- Additional Requirements: Excellent command of the German language, commitment to ongoing education, responsibility, and readiness to make decisive judgments.
