Role Details

The role invites Radiographers aiming to enhance their hospital and acute care experience. Working in a busy hospital imaging setting, the role supports a diverse range of clinical needs and provides close collaboration with medical and clinical teams. Key Duties

  • Conducting high-standard General X-ray and CT scans
  • Supporting musculoskeletal (MSK) and interventional imaging processes
  • Providing excellent patient-focused care
  • Upholding imaging quality alongside radiation safety compliance
  • Collaborating efficiently with Radiologists and clinical teams
  • Fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiographer)
  • Experienced in general radiography; theatre experience is an advantage
  • Preferred experience in hospital radiography, with confidence working in fast-paced acute clinical environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-centered focus
  • Capable of prioritizing clinical demands while maintaining high-quality patient care and imaging
  • Deep understanding of radiation safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
  • Willingness to participate in on-call and after-hours shifts as needed
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively to a collaborative team setting
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development and updating radiographic skills and knowledge
