Role Overview
As a Quantum Application Engineer based in Singapore, you will be instrumental in enhancing Classiq's quantum software platform. Collaborating closely with researchers, engineers, and product leadership, you will own critical initiatives and contribute directly to technology development and company culture as Classiq expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert technical assistance and guidance to customers, business partners, and internal teams.
- Resolve technical challenges and oversee projects related to quantum algorithms and applications.
- Work collaboratively with Classiq's global Quantum Application Engineering team and cross-functional teams throughout the APAC region.
- Ensure customer success by maximizing the value clients derive from Classiq’s technology and identifying areas for product enhancement.
- Design and deliver compelling demonstrations showcasing innovative quantum algorithms and applications for customers, prospects, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Classiq in Singapore, advancing the company’s technology, reputation, and principles within the local quantum computing community.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Have experience with or comprehensive understanding of quantum information science, quantum software engineering, quantum computing, or quantum algorithms.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills alongside confident presentation abilities.
- Demonstrate solid technical support, troubleshooting acumen, problem-solving skills, and project management experience.
- Be fluent in English at native or full professional levels; additional language proficiency prevalent in APAC is advantageous.
- Python programming skills are beneficial.
- Work well independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive within a remote, globally distributed workforce.
Additional Information
This role is primarily office-based at the Singapore location; however, flexible arrangements including remote work options are available.
