About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections including Receiving, Part Number and Serial Number recording, Visual, Dimensional, and Penetrant/Ultrasonic Testing inspections, documenting and reporting all findings.
- Manage both assembly (in-process) and final acceptance inspections, reporting inspection results for components such as Gas Turbine Components & Rotors, Centrifugal Compressor Rotor, and Steam Turbine Rotor according to established standards.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections aligned with drawing specifications and requirements.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and manage reject material disposition for nonconforming products.
- Collaborate with production teams to control nonconforming items by identifying, documenting, and segregating them in designated holding areas until issues are resolved.
- Prepare inspection documentation including reports for nonconforming products, NCRs, and holding tags.
- Participate actively in root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Regularly inspect and calibrate measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Ensure all preliminary, progressive, and final inspections are completed properly, with accurate records and reports prior to product release.
- Adhere strictly to safety and environmental protocols in all work activities.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Engineering or a high school certificate supplemented with relevant experience.
- Minimum of five years experience inspecting in a gas turbine repair shop or service organization.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Proficient in the use of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
- Experience in gas turbine component repair industry preferred.
- ASNT Level II certification in NDT methods such as Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Radiographic Testing is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with capability to work independently and minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
