Quality Control Junior Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Junior Executive to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products through thorough inspections and adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify quality standards are met.
• Carry out periodic GMP, hygiene, and food safety checks within the Central Kitchen environment.
• Accurately complete and maintain inspection checklists, monitoring records, and associated documentation.
• Confirm that production staff properly complete production records and monitoring forms.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation procedures comply with established schedules and hygiene protocols.
• Observe production activities to verify adherence to GMP, food safety standards, and internal operating procedures.
• Report any deviations or food safety concerns promptly to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Executive for action.
• Collect product samples and assist in coordinating laboratory testing as required.
• Support oversight of contractors or service providers such as pest control and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Help implement and sustain the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Organize and maintain ISO 22000 documentation and related inspection records systematically.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of food safety, GMP, and related quality control practices.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
