The Consumer Goods Division specifically supports brands, retailers, and manufacturers in delivering safe, high-quality, and ethically made products daily. Inspectors and auditors focus on products including apparel, footwear, toys, baby products, electronics, appliances, and furniture.

Role Summary

Reporting to an Operations Manager and part of the Operations team, the Quality Control Inspector is essential in delivering QIMA’s premier services. The role involves adhering to QIMA’s quality standards throughout all activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly check email to receive inspection documents and instructions.
• Arrive punctually for inspections and maintain professional communication with suppliers.
• Conduct merchandise inspections in compliance with company procedures.
• Oversee container loading processes according to QIMA guidelines.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and within established timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years experience in quality management, particularly with softlines, garments, textiles, or footwear.
• Proficient understanding of AQL standards and applicable safety and quality regulations.
• Competent in spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards in professional conduct.
