Company Overview
Rexel Industrial Solutions (RIS) specializes in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) services catering to the industrial sector. They partner with customers to enhance inventory control and optimize the supply chain relationship between customers and suppliers. RIS delivers customized service packages ranging from standard product supply and vendor reduction programs to dedicated on-site stores management with in-house buyers.
Role Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality & Administration Assistant supports the Quality team by managing the Quality System efficiently. This includes handling documentation control, procedural updates, product contact item organization, and maintaining training records and their updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and applying quality standards and control systems.
- Monitoring and analyzing quality metrics.
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with required quality specifications.
- Working collaboratively with various managers to develop controls and improvements.
- Ensuring workflows, processes, and products adhere to safety regulations.
- Investigating and resolving product or delivery issues.
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and continuous improvements.
- Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
- Managing supply chain documentation, training records, and procedural documentation including revision control and obsolescence of outdated forms.
- Overseeing product certifications and conducting internal audits.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possession of a third-level qualification in a quality-related discipline is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with ISO system manuals is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills to work with detailed information systematically.
- Excellent communication and numeracy abilities.
- Capability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
- Understanding of health and safety considerations.

- Direct reporting line to the Quality Manager.
