About Kilsaran Precast
Kilsaran Precast is a high-performance bespoke enterprise offering comprehensive services from building design and manufacture to final installation. Their fully automated, state-of-the-art plants in Kildare and Galway operate with flexible mould technology and fully integrate Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Shift Details
The role operates on an evening shift from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday evening through to Saturday morning.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection checks before and after concrete pours.
- Ensure that all products conform to the company’s quality assurance standards.
- Communicate any inconsistencies or deviations from set standards to the Unit Supervisor or QA Technician.
- Operate mechanical equipment as required.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning duties on machines to ensure optimal functioning.
- Maintain general cleanliness and order within the unit.
- Carry out concrete finishing tasks.
- Support the loading of deliveries as needed.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere rigorously to all Health and Safety policies, approaches, and regulatory requirements, including reporting hazards or incidents promptly, and promoting a safety-first working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Capability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with the construction sector.
- Experience with machinery is preferred but not mandatory.
- Competence in safe manual handling procedures.
