Python FastAPI Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python FastAPI Developer with 2 to 4 years of solid experience in designing, creating, and deploying scalable backend systems and APIs. The role demands proficiency in Python programming, expertise in FastAPI framework, and a strong track record in working with RESTful APIs and relational databases. Experience with deploying solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential. The candidate will be expected to work effectively within Agile teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend software utilizing Python and FastAPI.
• Create secure, efficient, and well-structured RESTful APIs.
• Develop reusable, maintainable backend services and microservices.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
• Integrate and connect third-party APIs and external systems.
• Enhance application responsiveness, optimize database queries, and improve backend workflows.
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications on AWS.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues while implementing performance enhancements.
• Design and execute unit, integration, and API level tests.
• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Adhere to Agile and Scrum methodologies along with standard software engineering practices.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years and up to 4 years experience in Python and FastAPI development.
• Strong knowledge of building RESTful web services and API security.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming using AsyncIO.
• Expertise in deploying applications on AWS cloud including services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EKS, ECS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience using Docker for containerization and managing microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding OAuth2, JWT-based authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
• Knowledge of Redis caching, Alembic migrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Additional Information

• Employment location: Pune, India (onsite role).
• Salary range: INR 300000 to 500000 per annum.
• Open to any graduate-level candidates.
