Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous Python Developer to architect, build, and enhance sturdy backend systems and web applications. The ideal candidate will craft clean and scalable Python code, develop RESTful APIs, handle database integrations, and cooperate with various teams to produce high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and deploy scalable backend microservices, REST APIs, and server-side application components utilizing Python.
- Produce clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code adhering to PEP 8 coding guidelines.
- Integrate data storage solutions involving relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL systems such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security across web services and API endpoints.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user interfaces with server-side logic.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities in production environments.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and functional tests using testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest.
- Engage in code review sessions, participate in Agile stand-ups, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software systems and APIs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Between one to three years of practical experience in backend development with Python.
- Strong expertise in modern Python web frameworks including Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Good grasp of relational database concepts, ability to write advanced SQL queries, and familiarity with ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy and Django ORM.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Knowledge of asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ) and API documentation standards (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Experience or basic understanding of containerization with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is advantageous.
- Excellent logical reasoning, analytical problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
