Position Overview

Sealed Air Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Executive to be stationed at its Penjuru site. This role involves overseeing sourcing, contract management, and vendor relations, while ensuring adherence to procurement policies and governance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to attain procurement outcomes that minimize costs and risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate with, and evaluate vendors for both direct and indirect purchases.
• Source and qualify new suppliers to expand the vendor base.
• Coordinate quotation requests and distribute technical and dimensional drawings to suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders systematically.
• Ensure all purchasing activities align with the company's ISO integrated management system, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Maintain communication with vendors regarding delivery schedules, sample evaluations, and resolution of product or service issues.
• Interpret technical and dimensional drawings accurately.
• Address quality concerns to meet customer specifications and expectations.
• Prepare, monitor, and properly document all purchase orders and related records.
• Regularly implement cost reduction initiatives to optimize procurement expenses.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing Management, or a related field.
• Brings a minimum of five years experience in purchasing or sourcing roles.
• Has prior experience in a manufacturing or service industry setting.
• Exhibits strong negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities to effectively engage vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical, problem-solving, and proactive skills.
