Purchase Executive

Overview

As a Purchase Executive at Hare Krishna Furnishing Private Limited, you will be responsible for procuring essential raw materials including furniture components, hardware, fabrics, and other related items. The goal is to ensure the acquisition of the right quality and quantity of materials at the best prices within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials like wood, plywood, MDF, veneer, laminate, foam, fabrics, leatherette, hardware, fittings, glass, and metal components.
• Plan purchases in accordance with production schedules and inventory needs while maintaining minimum stock levels.
• Identify and develop new suppliers, while monitoring existing vendors for quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate effectively with vendors to secure optimal prices and terms.
• Prepare and raise purchase orders based on approved requirements, verifying every detail such as quantity, rates, specifications, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
• Maintain regular follow-ups on order delivery status and coordinate replacements for any defective or rejected materials.
• Ensure all purchased materials conform to company specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate seamlessly with production, store, inventory, accounts, sales, and management teams to guarantee timely availability of materials.
• Monitor stock consumption and track purchase requirements to manage inventory effectively.
• Maintain thorough documentation of purchase records including vendor quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and update purchase entries in ERP or relevant software systems.
• Conduct market research to discover new suppliers, stay informed about new materials, and keep track of price trends in the furniture industry.
