Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join the Accessibility Services team at Rainbow Centre. This team is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing effective therapeutic and psychological support to help them gain independence and flourish.
The Psychologist will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and may deliver services across various environments including early intervention programmes, schools, child care settings, and community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments using suitable psychological tools to identify clients' therapy needs across diverse cases.
- Develop outcome-focused care plans that align with clients' goals by planning, implementing, evaluating, and managing tailored interventions.
- Lead both individual and group psychological interventions employing evidence-based methodologies and collaborative approaches to caseload management.
- Prepare detailed specialist reports, maintain accurate case notes, and complete documentation in line with professional standards and organizational policies.
- Manage and prioritize caseloads under supervision adhering to organizational protocols.
- Contribute to the formulation of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance service delivery in partnership with senior therapists.
Operational and Compliance Support
- Maintain and monitor client records and service utilization data consistent with organizational and professional standards.
- Oversee inventory management of equipment and materials ensuring safety and proper maintenance.
- Engage in the development, monitoring, and assessment of service outcome measures where appropriate.
Professional Development
- Participate in reflective practice and critical evaluation regarding contemporary professional issues impacting psychology and related sectors.
- Stay informed and compliant with applicable legislation, organizational policies, procedures, and professional ethical standards to maintain best practice.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology, including completed practicum experience during the Master's program.
- Eligibility for or current registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists.
- Experience working within special education environments is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively exchange information with various stakeholders and promote collaborative interdisciplinary practices focused on client-centred outcomes.
- Physical capability to meet job demands such as lifting clients and handling equipment.
- Candidates with four or more years of relevant experience will be considered for Senior Psychologist positions.
