Role Summary

The Property Valuer position is full-time and based on-site in Kilimani division, Nairobi County. Responsibilities include inspecting and evaluating properties, collecting market data, and analyzing sales, rental values, and local trends to establish fair market values. Key tasks involve preparing comprehensive valuation reports, accurately documenting findings, and adhering to all applicable standards and regulations.

Daily activities consist of collaborating with estate agents, property developers, and clients, promptly addressing queries, and conveying valuation results in easily understandable terms. The valuer will work closely with colleagues to meet assignment deadlines and contribute to enhancing valuation methodologies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Expertise in real estate appraisal and assessment with a strong aptitude for analyzing market data and property features.
• Experience liaising with estate agents and sound knowledge of the property market in Kilimani and nearby areas.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills, capable of establishing trust and managing client expectations effectively.
• Relevant academic qualifications in real estate, land economics, finance, or closely related disciplines along with necessary professional certifications or licenses.
• Competence in utilizing valuation software, spreadsheets, and property information databases; strong numeracy and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to independently meet deadlines within an on-site work environment.
• Prior experience in property valuation, consultancy, or a related real estate field is a plus.
