Job Overview
We invite a proactive and commercially astute Property Manager to join our leading retail property management team in Auckland. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of retail assets, nurturing strong client relationships, and enhancing the performance of some of Auckland’s premier retail properties.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of retail/shopping centre properties.
- Foster and maintain close partnerships with clients, tenants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Handle tenancy-related functions including lease compliance and managing vacancies.
- Assist in the development and execution of asset strategies and lifecycle planning.
- Collaborate with leasing, marketing, and facilities departments to achieve objectives.
- Support organizational sustainability and ESG initiatives within the assets.
- Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, and generate reports.
- Ensure punctual rent collection and accurate financial record keeping.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience in property management, preferably commercial or retail.
- REA Salesperson’s certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and skill in prioritizing multiple competing tasks.
- Pragmatic, solution-driven mindset supported by solid commercial judgment.
- Competency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive, collaborative, and team-focused attitude.
