Project Manager - Data Centre - Immediate Start

Job Overview

An established engineering consultancy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the execution of a major Tier 3 standalone data centre project in Qatar. This role involves comprehensive oversight of design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases for a mission-critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all project activities ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison among clients, consultant teams, contractors, specialist vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the project’s safe execution while adhering to scheduled timelines, budgets, quality, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A university degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in project management with extensive involvement in large-scale project deliveries.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering data centres, mission-critical facilities, or complex high-availability MEP projects.
• Thorough understanding of Tier 3 data centre concepts including redundancy, resilience, and critical infrastructure requirements.
• Proven capability to manage multidisciplinary teams engaged in design and construction phases.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, commissioning procedures, and integrated systems testing.
• Ability to commence work within one month of hiring.
