Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team, someone passionate about technology-driven environments and hands-on delivery. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding software development processes, collaborating effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, and transforming complex requirements into clear, achievable deliverables.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of software and technology projects, ensuring success in scope, timelines, risk, and dependencies management.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders to coordinate and align delivery efforts.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and status reporting to facilitate smooth execution.
- Identify and address risks, issues, and blockers proactively to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate communication across technical and business teams for shared understanding and alignment.
- Promote and support Agile methodologies and continuous process improvements throughout projects.
- Effectively manage shifting priorities while maintaining a focus on key business goals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships within technical and operational teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience managing software or technology projects.
- In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles and technology delivery environments.
- Proven experience working with development teams and technical stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in Agile delivery frameworks and flexibility to operate with both Agile and Waterfall methods.
- Capability to manage projects amidst ambiguity and evolving requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience handling multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and delivery deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and convert complex information into actionable project outcomes.

- Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.
- Work Model: Hybrid with three days onsite at the office after initial onboarding.
- Salary: Up to AUD 160,000 plus superannuation benefits.
