Job description
Overview
The Project Engineer will be accountable for the complete lifecycle management of construction projects within the built environment. This role demands expertise in technical problem-solving, design, and leadership to ensure projects are executed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential risks, material needs, and cost estimates for upcoming projects.
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to address construction challenges.
- Oversee all phases of the project from initiation through completion to maintain construction quality and safety.
- Lead the construction team and supervise progress on site effectively.
- Conduct feasibility analyses, prepare bid proposals, and draft environmental impact reports.
- Assure adherence to all applicable legal regulations, environmental policies, and health and safety standards.
- Liaise with contractors, architects, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the project duration.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and related tools to develop infrastructure system frameworks.
- Plan and coordinate the acquisition and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all legal and health and safety requirements throughout the project.
