Position Overview
The Project Controller role involves supporting project teams by developing and maintaining project schedules that track progress against deliverables and milestones. This role helps ensure effective schedule management, assists with reporting, and integrates cost and risk data.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update project schedules regularly, including monthly cost forecasts.
- Contribute to monthly reports such as PPRIP/MRM and other required documentation.
- Support team members with scheduling needs and report to Defence Space Command scheduler when requested.
- Maintain and update project documentation including MAA, PES, and IPMP.
- Provide oversight and reporting on Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Integrate schedule, cost, and risk information as needed.
- Collaborate effectively within teams, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
- Engage with stakeholders including industry partners and international project control teams to address expectations and concerns.
- Troubleshoot issues proactively and offer alternative solutions.
- Help coordinate team efforts aligned with work plans and advise team members on task execution methods.
- Guide contractors on best practices for schedule construction and assist other schedulers when required.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and roadmap development.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM), OPP, and Microsoft Project software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility for NV1 security clearance and access to US export-controlled information.
