Job description
About the Role
This position involves gaining hands-on experience over 6 to 12 months in emission measurement, along with the functional testing and calibration of continuous measurement systems. The role requires preparing and documenting various measurements, including pollutant sampling and conducting evaluations of results. Supporting the preparation phase and subsequent follow-up of measurements is also part of the job. Additionally, maintaining and carrying out simple repairs on measurement devices is expected. After completing training, the candidate will conduct emission measurements, functional tests, and calibrations independently.
Frequent travel is involved, with approximately 60-70% within the regions of Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Overnight stays will be required in about 20-30% of the trips.
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, such as chemical technician, environmental technician, or a related field
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of work experience in measurement and control technology as well as analytical technology
- Ability to work independently, responsibly, and with a high level of dedication
- Strong customer focus combined with effective communication skills
- Fluent German language proficiency in both writing and speaking
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Ready to travel regularly and must hold a valid Class B driving license
