Job description
Role Overview
Join Toitū as a Programme Lead focused on climate impact, working directly with organisations across various industries to help them reduce their environmental footprint and achieve verified, science-based climate objectives. This role is based in Auckland or Wellington and includes occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and support companies in implementing Toitū Climate Impact programmes and navigating sustainability challenges.
- Deliver carbon audit and verification services, working within ISO 14064 standards.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients to encourage environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate closely with the experienced Toitū team to promote climate action and deepen expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven background in client-facing roles with strong service delivery and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in environmental sustainability or technical account management preferred.
- Understanding of climate legislation and sustainability best practices across multiple sectors.
- Project coordination and management experience is an advantage.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is required.
